If you are on regular treatment your doctor may agree to you having repeat medication for a period of time without making an appointment.
In the interests of safety, we do not accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.
Prescription requests can be made online by using Patient Access (click here) - users must be registered for this service (read more here)
You can also request your prescription by completing the online form (click here), or using the links to Patient Access & the online form shown on the Engage Consult home screen (click here).
Local Pharmacy Services
The local pharmacists also operate a repeat prescription service whereby they will order your medication for you and save you the bother of dropping the form into the Health Centre. Please discuss this with your chosen pharmacist.
Alternatively, you can print the prescription request form, and place the completed printed copy in the prescription drop box at the practice.
You can also post your request to the surgery. If you wish your prescription to be posted back to you, please send a stamped addressed envelope.
Please allow 3 working days for routine prescriptions.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
